Stroud District Council Case Study


Stroud District Council, like all local authorities, faces reduced funding while still having to introduce efficiencies. It initially used awi, NDL’s integration server technology, to transfer microfiche images to its central document management system. It then realised that awi would be a powerful tool to use elsewhere, and would enable its experienced in-house team to develop cost-effective solutions for integrating disparate systems. Now a number of services across the authority are starting to benefit.
